Alexia Wensing
Registered Psychotherapist (she/her)
Alexia holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology, as well as an Honours Bachelor Degree in Social Psychology. Having worked in both private and psychiatric spaces with adults and teens, her experiences have provided me tools to work with clients to understand trauma, foster meaning-making, and create a sense of safety in a judgement-free relationship.
While her work comes from a variety of frameworks including a trauma-focused approach to ACT, Narrative Therapy, CBT, CPT, REBT, and IFS Parts-Work, your sessions would be based on your unique preferences and needs. Her areas of interest are mood and stress, sport performance counselling, self-awareness and growth, trauma, and assisting you in adjusting outgrown habits or ideas.
